ISUMI KIMONO no.1

ISUMI is a name inspired by a tranquil coastal region of Japan – a place full of wind, faded blues, grasses, and light.

And that's exactly what this fabric is like.

ISUMI is one of those fabrics that is hard to describe with a single color.
A beige-ash background, a tiny black pattern, and a delicate layer of blue make the material change depending on the light and what you pair it with.

It's a calm, timeless form of Japanese cotton – very versatile, yet distinctive. A fabric that goes with almost everything and surprisingly suits various skin tones.

ISUMI kimonos are sewn in several versions:
• length 55 / 60 / 65 cm (please specify the length after purchase)
• Japanese sleeve no.1 classic version without a pleat
• Batwing sleeve no.3
• Japanese sleeve version with a pleat on the shoulder that subtly lifts and shapes the silhouette no.2

From the same fabric, we also create EMI ISUMI vests and the first matching trousers.

Composition:
100% Japanese cotton

Care:
Machine washable at 30°C on a delicate cotton program.
Recommended spin up to 600 rpm.
Do not tumble dry.
Iron at medium temperature.
